Had the cornbeef hash. Huge portions and awesome seasoning. My son really enjoyed the Belgium waffle and pancakes. Just and awesome family vibe in this restaurant. Can't wait to come back.

I will say I was very excited about coming to this place, I ordered country fried steak and the steak tasted like it was microwaved I was so disappointed, the rest of the food was fine, service was good. I just had high expectations for this place since it has great reviews. If I come back I will definitely not order the steak.

What a place! We've been going there for years. The ladies in charge are personable and makes you feel at home. It seems they always know who's eating there and giving out hugs to everyone. Lots of regulars. Food is pretty good. I've tried a wide variety of entrees there from pancakes to the tammie salad to the French onion soup and chimmichanga. All were tasty and nice sized portions. Its prices are comparable to mels diner and bob evans. So not bad at all. Plus the food at oasis is way better quality. Go check it out! You'll sure leave happy & full.

Our first visit after living in the area for years; have to admit, the diverse menu scared us. I just had the best corn beef hash I've ever had! The service is terrific, the owner (Bonnie) treats everyone like family and close friends, and the food passing by withdrawals jealous feelings! Give Oasis a shot for BFast, Lunch or Dinner; you'll not be disappointed while feeling like family.

best. hash. ever. sunday morning amen-worthy! So let me tell you what nonsense the Yelp APP has me doing. My original review includes the first two lines at the top of this page. Nothing else needs to be said but this app will not post my review because it wasn't long enough. Well I hope this silly paragraph has met someone's needs! That is all. Seriously, get the HASH!

We have eaten supper here for several years. You cannot go wrong at this establishment regardless of what you order. The staff is excellent. Menu is provides for every taste. If home style is your desire, then this is the place for you!

Have been going to the Oasis for about 25 years now. Started when they were in their "old" location and "moved" right along with them. Bonnie and Tammie (owners) are two of the nicest people you could ever meet. They make everyone feel right at home. Have a complaint? Let them know and they will do their darndest to rectify the problem. The menu is varied and the specials are always listed on the white board just inside the door (not that I ever remember to check it). Sunday mornings the place fills up quickly with singles, couples and large groups. To be safe call ahead and get your name on a list. They have outdoor seating and welcome well-behaved dogs on the patio. Can't say enough about the atmosphere and the friendliness of this place. It's kind of like "Cheers".

Oasis Restaurant is a gem, indeed. On my last day of vacation I wanted to do something special for the friends I was staying with in Fort Myers. I said dinner.... they said breakfast at Oasis Restaurant. Go figure. We arrived on a Friday morning at 9 a.m. and the place was 75% filled with patrons enjoying their morning meals..... snowbirds, sure, but from the looks of things the Oasis has "a following" of locals. Our orders were; (1) one egg fried with hash browns and fruit; (2) two pancakes with two fried eggs and hot chocolate, no froth and finally; (3) my order which was the standard house frittata along with a side of grits. Hot coffee before the meal was strong, hot and just right. Check that off the list of big hits! The food arrived steaming hot within 15 minutes. The line cook is not slacking, for sure. Eggs are eggs and pancakes are pancakes.... but the regular house frittata was beautiful! Just a huge pile of eggs, sausage, cheese, potatoes..... all in a skillet bowl. Food orgasm alert. I'm a big guy and the tastes were sensational but I couldn't get to the end zone. HUGE! So that's breakfast folks. It was really good and the tab came to around $30 total (w/out tip). Mikey Likey the Oasis Restaurant. I can't imagine what a crowd the place draws on weekends in the morning.

I'm definitely a fan for the whole experience of the Oasis. The reason for the 3 stars is the fact our waitress stood at our table, impatiently waiting for our order. Three people were rushed in (me and two others) at the last minute (bonus points for great management in making that call), but the waitress didn't need to hover over us. Yes, we may have been her last table of the day, however, we felt awkward about ordering. She didn't allow us time to look at the menu and make a good choice. We got rushed from her. She didn't really want to properly answer a question, and when asked if she can give us a minute, she actually took a step backwards and waited!! Once we did make a decision, it was delivered hot and you could tell it was fresh. The sandwiches ordered (one was Bonnie's Bet. I don't remember the other) were delicious and the four way chili was an interesting take on how to eat chili. Not spicy at all, surprisingly. I think one of the nicest things in the restaurant is the fact the owners care about their customers and the health of the people going in and out of the place. Every table had a big pump of hand sanitizer, so that the people sitting could instantly clean their hands if they wanted. 1 up on that! I guess that and the owner allowing us in at the last minute makes up for our waitress being a bit grumpy.. but every one else seemed nice! Thanks, Oasis! Next time I'm in the area, I'll stop in... and I'll make sure I'm early!

As far as greasy spoons go, Oasis is above average. This place is open for all three meal times but I can only attest to breakfast. Breakfast is satisfying and will not break the bank. The wait staff is very nice and prompt. Expect to see a lot of locals as the place has been around for many years.

I've been eating here for years. In fact they were the only restaurant we could find open after hurricane Charlie came through. I've only eaten breakfast here. Their frittata is the house specialty and I recommend it. Fresh brewed coffee and tea and some of the best home potatoes in town. Portions are large and prices are reasonable.

This restaurant was a true delight. We got in and out for dinner for three for $32 dollars. The corned beef Reuben was awesome! We were able to order eggs for our daughter for dinner. Looks like you can order breakfast any any time. We used yelp to find this spot, after visiting my wife's grandmother in the nearby retirement home. I highly suggest the food and also the bathrooms were super clean, like super-duper clean. The food delivery was quick. Free refills of my Arnold Palmer drink were offered (the drink was great). Go there and tell all your friends to go there too! Oh and they deliver too!!

Food was delicious! I had the spark burger and it was perfectly cooked. Atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. Service was friendly and my version of perfect, there when I needed something but not hovering. Nice little place!

Found the Oasis in a great location Downtown! Lots of parking! Extremely pleasant atmosphere. Indoor or outdoor seating... Staff is very polite and very "Johnny on the spot". Having an omelet with sides, and my guest is having 3 egg breakfast with all the sides including juice (of many varieties-not just the standard choices.) The food was good not spectacular., but large portions. I am odd and like my toast dry and BLACK, took a second time to get it correct, but it just took a short minute and it was back and PERFECT! Service was very fast and very friendly. Wait staff very attentive but not hovering ! Overall a very lovely brunch!

This is now our go to place for breakfast. My wife and I order a short stack of pancakes as our "appetizer". They are too good to pass up. I usually get an omelet for post appetizer and my wife gets one of the egg dishes. The food is always good and the coffee always hot. The help is friendly and attentive and the owners are usually stop by to say hello to the patrons. We've been here enough times to say this is a can't miss breakfast restaurant.

This place is true to it's name. In a world of fast processed food restaurants where you are only a ticket number this place is a treasure. A real blast from the past where quality trumps quantity, but quantity matters also because they are super fast and friendly. they know and address you by your name. The owner walks around and chats with you, asks how everything is, and even hugs you! I am an old fashioned country girl so I was touched. They speak not address you as you enter and bids you a farewell as you leave. Did I mention the food was great, too? I will definitley be returning to Oasis for the food and the friendly staff. Places like this are so hard to come by. Especially during lunch rush. Kudos to the owners and staff.

The people there are terrific and so is the food, if you love diner fare, which I most certainly do. It's hard to argue with a place where you randomly get hugged by owners that also serves good grits.

The Corned Beef Hash is the best I've ever had. Delicious pancakes and my girlfriend loves the Breakfast Burrito. Very friendly service and a positive environment. We look forward to coming here every weekend - best breakfast in town!

I have been coming to the Oasis for 25 years. The owners are fantastic and always have a smile and a hug for everyone! The food is consistently great. My favorite has always been their cheeseburgers. Best burger around! Service is great! Can't miss this when you are in downtown Fort Myers!!!

My wife and I had breakfast here this morning. Excellent French toast! The owner made a point to stop by every table and talk. If you like Perkins and IHOP you'll love this place. I give it a ten out of ten. Mark from Maryland

3 1/2 STARS I stopped in this place by mistake, really. I was headed downtown and thought I'd give it a try. It's a locally popular diner-type restaurant, rather large on the inside and very clean. The lunch crowd seems to be a mixture of office workers and oldies. I tried the "Bonnie's Bet" Sandwich, which was homemade chicken salad & bacon, lettuce & tomato on rye. It was quite good. It comes with one side and I opted for fruit (I'm trying!). It was a small helping of fruit, but it was fresh. Service - 4 STARS Food - 3 STARS Interior decor - 3 STARS

Dropped by for lunch before visiting SW FL Museum across the street. Nice servers who tag team, were asked by 3 different people if we'd ordered drinks yet. Amy was our designated server & gave us some details on menu items. Based on her recommendations we had a pulled pork sandwich and a burger. Both were good & served on fresh rolls. Pork had plenty of BBQ sauce but didn't taste homemade. Burger was cooked just a bit over medium rare requested but tasted OK. Homemade coleslaw was nicely done, not overly sweet. Home chips would be excellent if they were all cooked thoroughly but about half were not crispy, slightly underdone. Iced tea was way too watery, no flavor. Overall good but not great food, decent value & lots of menu options.

Have gone here dozens of times and we have never had anything but excellent service, very good food and a cheap bill. As others have said -there are lots of locals and the place gets very busy. BUT the service is still fast and the food is freshly prepared. If you try it once you will go back.

I've been eating here for years. Everything I've ordered has been delicious. They expect nothing but the best from their staff and it shows. Everybody is efficient and friendly. If you haven't given them a try I suggest going today! You won't regret it.

Wow what a terrible Greek salad and gyros. Bjorn and I (I deserve the blame) selected this place for a farewell lunch before he ships out to London--what a mistake. Bjorn opted for the fries instead of the salad. Hard to imagine that this dish is billed as a house special and that Oasis has a 4.5 star rating on Yelp. Pita was doughy, "lamb" was a sad joke (looked like some reconstituted meat product formed into slices and fried--it was bland, uniformly textured like hot dog meat and greasy), Salad did not have cucumber (WTF) and was mostly potato salad on top of iceberg lettuce that had browned in places. Feta was weak/bland. Tzatziki was made with sour cream and had no hint of garlic or cucumber. Ice tea was watery. Positives were that the service was attentive and quick (it was over with quickly) and the prices are low. The place was busy and there may be decent "diner" food available, but I will not be back to a place that puts such a Big Fat Greek Lie on its menu. Menu needs to be changed to avoid disappointment of anyone looking for real Greek food.

Best diner I have been to in Florida. Unfortunately I live in Orlando and I can't bring it with me. The people that run this place and work here are super friendly. I had the country fritata. The food was very good and very plentiful. Worth the wait we had. Gives me one more reason to visit my mom in ft. Myers. Lol

We've been to several breakfast places and were not impressed by this restaurant. My strawberry compote crepes came with strawberries but no compote. They were good but could have been a lot better. Our server was ordinary, somewhat efficient but no smile and forgot a few things, we had to ask. The decor was outdated and we thought, wrong for a breakfast restaurant. Our booth was held in place by an iron angle screwed to the wall and the springs were obviously worn on the seat. All in all, a good place for a quick lunch for the working people in the area.

This was a great place for a big breakfast. They have a great menu, including some of the best sausage gravy I've ever eaten. I'm kind of a coffee snob, but their coffee was surprisingly good. Service was excellent.

Stopped by here for lunch with a friend. Together we had the club, mini sliders, curly fries, steak fries, chicken and dumpling soup , and Wisconsin cheddar soup. Everything to me was delicious. She did not like the dumplings at all but I thought they were good. The ambiance is a little off but it is a diner and the people there are super friendly. Will go again next time I am downtown.
